Respect ALL Teaching Staff

Always come to class with a positive attitude

Always come to class dressed correctly with your hair tidy and suitably fastened up to ensure it will not be in the way during the class

Always ask for help if you need it

Consistently try your best – let your teachers know if there is a reason you may not be fully on form
-
Ensure your mobile phone is on silent – including the vibrate mode.

Ensure you do not go to your phone during the class – only at the end
-
Be on time for class – if you are to be late please ensure your teacher is aware.

Don’t enter the hall if the music is playing – wait until the music has finished
-
Do not chat in class time

Teamwork is important – so treat each other with respect and always make new members feel welcome into the class. Treat all other Pupils as You wish to be treated yourself

Support and work sensibly with other Students

Remember that someone else might misinterpret your actions, no matter how well intentioned

Treat the premises and possessions of other students and Teachers with care and respect – ensuring you clear up your own mess and not leaving it for someone else. Make sure the food and drink brought to class is suitable – no fizzy pop!! Please Do not chew gum

Do not leave the premises without adult supervision if your parents are late arriving – do not stand outside the hall / gate OR walk to the end of the road and stand on the corner – return to the hall and wait there. This is for YOUR safety and well being.

When in public – representing the school – always act with professionalism and dignity to ensure our school is held in high esteem – and that our reputation is not affected by your actions.

Ridiculing, bullying or any kind of physical or verbal abuse – towards anyone is NOT acceptable and will not be tolerated

If you have a problem ALWAYS speak to Miss Sharon, Miss Sophie or Stephen likewise if you feel concerned about anything regarding a fellow student or just yourself – please tell us !

It is forbidden to put photographs of your examination results sheets on any social media site …ie Facebook, Twitter etc….You can state the result but not place an actual picture of the exam paper.

The Posting of any videos involving choreography of dances and shows by the Teachers of Haydons Dance Academy is strictly forbidden on any Social media Site due to copyright - anyone found to do this could be made liable for prosecution

Students may not attend any other dance school whilst training at Haydons Dance Academy, this doesn’t apply to Associate Schemes or after school clubs – if in doubt please ask us

Students are respectfully requested to check with us before attending any audition/workshop run by another dance school/Company

You are respectfully asked not to contact any member of the teaching faculty from 5pm on a Saturday until after 10am on a Monday morning . Any contact made during this time will not be replied to or answered until after 10am on a Monday

All students MUST adhere to the rules and regulations of the signed contract, any student who fails to do so will be asked to leave.
UNDERSTAND THERE IS ZERO TOLERANCE BEHAVIOUR POLICY
AT OUR DANCE SCHOOL, STUDENTS BEHAVING INAPPROPRIATELY
WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE.
All strudents will be givien a copy of The Haydons Dance Academy code of conduct upon joining. We also have a Parents Code of Conduct in line and parents will also recieve this upon joining the academy.
